Lucrecia was born in Argentina in 1940.She made her Arts Degree, in Escuela de Bellas Artes in the National University of La Plata (Argentina).
She married Javier Villafañe, the famous writer and puppeteer who died in 1996.She illustrated some of his books.They had 6 children.
They moved to Venezuela on 1967 where she worked as a University Professor and Artist.

Now She lives in Merida and sells her art at the Mercado de Artesanias which is next to the Plaza the Las Heroinas in front of Merida,s Cable Car or Teleferico. There she also has her son’s and daughter’s paintings and puppets.
