Thanks Lynnete! For those pictures I just used an old digital Sony Mavica that I carry everywhere.I took some other pictures with my Nikon N60 but those are on the lab.I will post some of those too.
I wanted to tell you that I'm enjoying your photos, but I *love* your Enjoy Life journal page. Your daughter is such a cutie and the colors you used are vibrant. The page just sings!
I also liked the El Yunque page. We read about it in our Spanish book and see it in the video that goes with the book. It's neat to think of you visiting and journaling about it.
You mentioned El Diario de Frida Kahlo as one of your favorite books in your profile. I'm wondering, does it include some of her artwork, or is it all text?
Thanks Dawn! Frida Kahlo's Journal is totally visual,with drawings and handwriting with colored pencils and crayons. I know you'd like it. El Yunque is about an hour from home,in that picture Maya was 6 months only, we try to "escape" from the city on weekends so she is used to go the mountain, the river and she loves it.
